For the first time since the first rankings of the season, a new squad has cracked the Varsity Maine girls hockey top five.

Last week was the fourth consecutive poll that the order of the rankings was unchanged. But here comes the Gorham co-op, which is ranked for the first time this winter, coming in at No. 5. Edward Little is the unanimous No. 1 for the third week in a row.

Now that the playoffs have started, will we see more changes in the rankings?


The Varsity Maine girls hockey poll is based on games played before Feb. 3, 2026. The top five teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
