Gavin Fanjoy turned a steal into a tiebreaking dunk in the closing seconds of overtime, lifting Erskine Academy to a 72-70 Class B North boys basketball victory over Lawrence on Thursday in South China.

Erskine’s Dom Brann made four 3-pointers and scored 16 points. Cam Coutts added 15 points, and Fanjoy and Jack Coutts both finished with 13.

The Eagles (14-4) will be the No. 6 seed in the Class B North tournament and will face No. 3 Gardiner in the quarterfinals next Friday in Bangor.

Lawrence also had four players in double figures: Miles Provost with 19, Keegan Littlefield and Ryder Provost with 15 each, and Dawson Moore with 11.

CONY 65, LEAVITT 62: Jackson Kay and Carter Brathwaite paced the Rams’ (16-2) offense with 20 and 19 points, respectfully, in a victory over the Hornets (11-7) in Turner.

Ian Lasselle chipped in with 13 points for Cony. The Rams enter the Class B North tournament as the top seed.

Leavitt’s Colin Schlobohm led all scorers with 24 points, while Jacob Gibbs finished with 16 points and Darren Flagg dropped in 10 points. The Hornets will be the fifth seed in Class B South.

MT. BLUE 64, OXFORD HILLS 28: Cooper Abell made five 3-pointers, all in the first half, and finished with 15 points as the Cougars (10-8) ended the regular season with a win over the Vikings (4-14) in Farmington.

Evan Drake also scored 15 points for Mt. Blue, which will be the No. 8 seed in the Class A North playoffs.

Cam Pulkkinen led Oxford Hills with 11 points.

MORSE 52, WATERVILLE 40: Dylan Root paced the Shipbuilders (6-12) with 14 points in a win over the Purple Panthers (3-15) at Bath.

Ronan Lafer chipped in with 10 points for Morse.

Waterville’s Derek Couture scored 12 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MORSE 67, WATERVILLE 31: Four players scored in double figures to lead the Shipbuilders (7-11) past the Panthers (2-16) in Waterville.

Reese Darling led Morse with 19 points. Molly Cosgrove added 17, Selah Park had 12 and Lily Caron scored 10.

Olivia Rollins paced Waterville with 10 points.

BOYS HOCKEY

GREELY 5, GARDINER CO-OP: Liam Murray and Jason Parent scored their first varsity goals and Beckett Olsen got his first shutout as the Rangers (3-10) defeated Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow/Lawrence/Richmond/Wiscasset (3-9) at Family Ice Center in Falmouth.

Mitchell Lambert, Jack Noone and Sawyer Munz were the other goal scorers. Jarrett Bush and Lincoln Welles each had two assists.
