AUGUSTA — Preparations for the Maine Principal’s Association 2026 boys and girls high school basketball tournament were underway Monday at the the Hammond Lumber Company auditorium at the Augusta Civic Center.

The tournament is scheduled to begin Wednesday and run through Saturday, Feb. 28, at the civic center, the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland and the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
