The federal attempt to take over state control of elections is dangerous. We must oppose any federal effort to collect or centralize voter roll data or control state polls. These are bare-fisted attempts to manipulate elections. We must defend the right of states to run state and federal elections.
The president’s continued fixation on his loss of the 2020 election has created a climate where his attempts to control voter information cannot be dismissed. When the federal government demands access to comprehensive voter data — names, addresses, voting histories — political misuse is the intent. Centralization facilitates voter intimidation, purges and manipulation. The founders gave states control over elections precisely to prevent this path to tyranny. Federal control would erode that safeguard and set the stage for rigged elections.
Tell our representatives to contest the unconstitutional theft of 2020 ballots and voter information from Georgia.
