Bonita M. Gagne
SKOWHEGAN – Bonita “Bonnie” M. Gagne, 85, of Skowhegan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at her home.
Bonnie was born in Skowhegan on June 29, 1940, the daughter of Albert and Regina (Martin) Lachance. She was educated in the Catholic schools in Jackman and graduated from Skowhegan High School. She married Phillip “Phil” Gagne in 1961. Bonnie was employed with Key Bank for 25 years.
Bonnie enjoyed the company of her dog, Brandi; reading, playing cards, gardening, trips to the coast, vacationing in the winters with a very special nephew and his wife, Randy and Tracy Dumont and their children, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Phil; daughter Michelle Lovering and husband David of Windham, daughter, Kim LaChance and husband Scott of Skowhegan.
She was predeceased by her four sisters, Vivian, Lauretta, Jeanette and Annette; and her parents Albert and Regina.
There will be a private service.
