After reading Abbey Hamilton’s Feb. 5 op-ed, “MAGA is antithetical to the teachings of Christ,” I wish to applaud her coherent, intelligent, truthful essay. Well done.

It is refreshing and hopeful that a teenager can see, and speak to, the so-called white “Christian ” nationalists who twist and outright lie about what living Christ’s message means. There are many of us around Maine who feel the same as Abbey. Let our voices, and ones like hers, be heard.
