These were some of the top performers in Friday’s quarterfinals in Augusta, Bangor and Portland:

Brady Atwater, Gardiner boys: Scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the third-seeded Tigers to a 62-39 victory over No. 6 Erskine.

Nya Avery, York girls: Sparked the third-seeded Wildcats, finishing with 16 points and six rebounds, in a 58-51 win over Poland in a B South quarterfinal.

Kaylee Bagley, Ellsworth girls: Scored 18 points and made four clutch free throws in the final 30 seconds to help the No. 7 Eagles take down No. 2 Old Town, 49-46.

Avery Clark, Bangor girls: Scored 19 points, including 14 in the second half, in the Rams’ A North quarterfinal loss to Edward Little.

Alexis Creaser, Edward Little girls: Recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds as the fourth-seeded Red Eddies ousted No. 5 Bangor with a 45-36 A North quarterfinal win.

Bryn Gilmore, Gray-New Gloucester girls: The freshman scored a team-high 15 points, grabbed a team-best 10 rebounds and had four steals in the No. 1 Patriots’ 44-28 win over Freeport.

Leah Jones, Camden Hills girls: Senior guard scored 19 points in the third-seeded Windjammers’ 59-31 win over No. 6 Brunswick.

Natalie Lathrop, Marshwood girls: Hit a buzzer-beating, game-winning 3-pointer that gave the No. 5 Hawks a 46-43 victory over No. 4 Greely. Lathrop made three treys and scored a team-high 17 points.

Cali LeClair, Mt. Ararat girls: The sophomore made four 3-pointers and scored 13 points as No. 1 Mt. Ararat took down No. 8 Skowhegan, 62-24.

Addie Poland, Oceanside girls: Finished with 17 points, including 4 of 8 from 3-point range, and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds in the second-seeded Mariners’ 72-27 win over Lake Region.

Renee Ripley, Oceanside girls: Scored 21 points, making 5 of 8 from 3-point range, and grabbed six rebounds to help the No. 2 Mariners beat No. 10 Lake Region, 72-37.

Maddie Provost, Lawrence girls: Drained five 3-pointers and scored 26 points in the third-seeded Bulldogs’ 74-45 victory over sixth-seeded MDI.

Aubrey Shaw, Hampden Academy girls: Tallied 16 points, including the first eight of the game and 12 of the No. 2 Broncos’ first 24 points in a 35-18 Class A North quarterfinal win over Lewiston. Shaw also pulled down six rebounds.

Carter Wiggin, Hermon boys: Put up 21 points, dished out four assists and had five steals in second-seeded Hawks’ 61-44 victory over Belfast.
