The only constant in boys hockey this season is Thornton Academy winning. That’s why the Golden Trojans remain the unanimous No. 1 in the Varsity Maine boys hockey poll.
The rest of the state’s teams continue to win big games and drop others. This could hint at some exciting playoffs.
One team on the rise is Falmouth, which was unranked last week but is now third in the poll.
The Varsity Maine boys hockey poll is based on games played before Feb. 16, 2026. The top five teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
