Fuller was found dead in an apartment in the Cogir Potomac Senior Living facility in Potomac, Maryland, on Feb. 14 after he was shot in the head. He was 87.

The footage released by the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division shows a long-haired suspect walking away from a surveillance camera at the senior living facility, wearing a yellow and black plaid shirt and dark pants.

The suspect, police said, could be a man or a woman.

Montgomery County police asked anyone with information about the incident or with knowledge of the shooter or their gait to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-8477. In 2021 Fuller donated $1.64 million to help build a new artificial turf athletic field at Alumni Field at Cony High School, since renamed Fuller Field in his honor.
