CAMDEN HILLS WINS IF …

• Nolan Ames meets or exceeds his average performances. It won’t be easy, even for the Mr. Maine finalist. Portland faced seven Class A South all-conference players in its last three playoff games, including four first-team picks. None reached double figures. Their combined average was 6.4 points.

• Complementary scorers Whitley and Healey continue to shoot well and add points in an efficient manner.

• The Windjammers win the rebounding battle. That would allow them to get out in transition, where Ames’ playmaking ability can shine, and lessen their need to hit 3-point shots and deal with the half-court impact of the 6-foot-7 Lumani.

PORTLAND WINS IF …

• The Bulldogs get Camden Hills into foul trouble. That would be an unusual and uncomfortable situation for the Windjammers. Not a single Camden player averages more than 2.3 fouls per game.

• Rebounding continues to be a Portland advantage. Guards Ramazani and Meas are particularly strong rebounders for their size.

• LeGage knocks down a couple of 3-pointers early. He led Portland in the regular season with 19.4 points per game and had a big impact with a game-high 17 points in the regional final.
