WATERVILLE — “The World Needs Art” is the theme of Youth Art Month 2026 on view March 1-30 at Ticonic Gallery, 93 Main St., and Greene Block + Studios, 18 Main St. Opening receptions are set for March 13.
The multi-site exhibition, hosted by Waterville Creates, features artwork by local students in grades K–12 in a variety of media, including painting, digital art, pottery, photography and more.
Youth Art Month is an opportunity for students to showcase their work in a gallery setting and share their achievements with their families and their community. The national initiative is designed to emphasize the value of art education and to encourage support for quality school art programs.
Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday and Wednesday through Sunday.
