UMaine-Farmington’s men’s basketball season came to an end Saturday night in the second round of the NCAA Division III men’s basketball tournament as the Beavers lost 92-69 to Yeshiva in Montclair, New Jersey.
Yoav Oselka scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to pace Yeshiva (22-8), which eliminated Bates in the first round on Friday.
The Maccabees took control by scoring the final 12 points of the first half for a 47-34 lead, then went on a 15-0 run early in the second half.
Zach McLaughlin led UMF with 31 points. Jason Reynolds had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
