Clifford Olin Wilson III

AUGUSTA – Clifford Olin Wilson III, 72, affectionately known as Cliff by his loved ones, was born on Dec. 30, 1953, in Somerville, N.J. Losing his 26-year battle with Parkinson’s on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Alfond Center for Health with his husband by his side. Cliff was a resident of Augusta, where he lived a fulfilling and joyous life. He was a beloved husband to Julio Sanchez Asto and a cherished son to his late parents, Clifford O. Wilson Jr. and Beatrice Handville.

He had an undeniable love for music, with The Beatles holding a special place in his heart. Above all, Clifford valued his family and friends, cherishing the time spent with his loved ones.

Visitation for Cliff will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 2 p.m., at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, One Church Street, Augusta. Following the visitation, Words of Remembrance will be shared at 3 p.m. at the same location.
