Judith “Judi” Ann (Chepren) Wills
NEW PORTLAND – Judith “Judi” Ann (Chepren) Wills of North New Portland, formerly of Onset, Mass., passed away on Feb. 27, 2026, after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Lewis (Lewi) Wills for the past 55 years. She was a member of the 1968 Class at Wareham High School.
With Lewi by her side, Judi created an active life and amazing career in North New Portland. Judi was a lifetime member of the Sugarloaf Rescue Team and NorthStar EMS. For over 30 years, she served her community as a paramedic, nurse, and trainer. She also served her community in countless ways, not the least of which as an original member of the Wire Bridge Sno-Travelers Snowmobile Club. Whether you knew Judi professionally or personally, you could always count on her positivity, intelligence, and heart. Her life of service has ended, but her legacy lives on.
In addition to her husband, Judi leaves sons, Roderick Wills and Dana Wills of North New Portland, and four grandchildren, Tristen, Aubrey, Austin and Braden. She was born in Wareham, the daughter of the late Isabelle (McAvoy) Chepren and Reno Chepren, and stepmother, Lorraine Chepren. She is survived by her brother, John (Jack) Chepren of Rehoboth, Mass.; sisters, Jeanne Chepren of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., and Virginia Boyd Eldridge of Wareham; and a very close cousin, Janice Pope Reed of Florida and Wareham, Mass. Judith also leaves behind a brother in law and sister-in-law, Bernard and Arlene Newell, and brother in law and sister in law, Stanley and Terri Wills.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Ronald Chepren, Robert (Bob) Chepren, Marilyn Chepren Stetkis, Phyllis Boyd Reuille, George Boyd and Warren Boyd.
Services will be held in Maine at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Dan and Scott’s Cremation and Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington, Maine, where memories, photos and condolences may be shared at dsfuneral.com.
