As the Trump administration embarked on a senseless, illegal and unpopular attack on the nation of Iran, this publication’s online comments section was temporarily down. I have read reports that the the U.S. public is opposed to these unprovoked attacks on Iran, four to one. Negotiations were ongoing and Iran was interested in a diplomatic resolution of the Trump administration’s desire to topple the Iran government.
If online comments had been enabled and functioning on recent reporting about Iran, the four to one against this illegal and unconstitutional attack would be revealed and condemned by the comments. This at a time when the Epstein files are in play and it is alleged that files relating to President Trump have been withheld from Congress.
With the comment feature restored, I’d expect the people of Maine to weigh in with their overwhelming opposition to a senseless war against a country that poses no threat to the people of the U.S. or Maine.
