I am writing in recognition of the driving force behind the MAGA movement. This force, the essence and spirit of the movement, is its intellectual foundation as well. I am referring, of course, to President Trump’s fabulous gut.
This remarkable being always knows what needs to be done, and our venerable leader readily responds to its directives. Who needs an intelligence community to inform decisions about foreign relations or appropriate use of our military? The gut knows all. If the gut informed our leader that Iran poses an imminent threat to our national security, it must be true. What is the nature of this existential threat? President Trump can’t tell us. Apparently the input he receives from the gut is classified.
What will the gut prompt our leader to do next? Who knows? I certainly don’t. I’ve asked my gut, but it’s maintaining silence. These guts must have an agreement of some kind and mine is keeping the faith. Everyone should ask their gut. Maybe if enough of us ask, someone’s gut will crack and spill the beans.
