Thank you for including the latest issue of the Working Waterfront in the March 19 Press Herald. My wife and I find this fascinating, eye-opening and incredibly relevant to living in coastal Maine. It reflects on so many issues, including economy, basic science, climate change, affordability and hard-working Mainers.
We think it should be mandatory reading for students and adults, so that they might learn about where our seafood comes from, how it is harvested, and what are the threats to the many forms of sea life and the workers.
Please continue to include this in your papers.
