When I reached the front page of the sports section on Monday (April 6), I expected to read a story about the women’s basketball NCAA title game that saw the underdog rout the favorite in a Sunday game that finished well before this paper’s deadline.

I found nothing in the sports section about that huge upset in women’s sports. Instead, there was a story with two generous photos about the men’s title game to be played Monday night.

On Friday, April 3, you ran a story, front page, front section of the paper, about the surge of interest in women’s basketball as reflected in betting (70% of sports betting is done by men).

Three days later, after the bets were won or lost on that championship game, you didn’t even bother to report the score, let alone run a story? Shame on you!
