Owner Larry Mason drives a new lawn tractor past rows of push mowers in for repair on Tuesday at Mason’s Lawnmower and Power Equipment in Augusta.

He said that spring was the busiest time of year, as people bring in mowers, trimmers and tillers in for tune-ups or repairs.

Mason said the business was started by his father almost 70 years ago. They repair and sell new and used snowblowers, mowers and other equipment on Haskell Street.
