May 15
A grinder, rototiller, ice fishing traps, golf driver and an air compressor were reportedly taken from a home during a burglary on Town House Road. The grinder and compressor were recovered from a Lewiston pawn shop. The investigation is ongoing.

Christopher Dennison, 43, of Livermore Falls, was charged with operating under the influence after crashing his motorcycle on Route 27 near the Moulton Road intersection. Dennison was driving south when he lost control and crashed. Dennison suffered head injuries and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with non life-threatening injuries.

At 4:25 p.m., Eric Charles Shorey, 36, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of theft and a warrant charging failure to pay fines by police responding to a shoplifting complaint at Shaws on Western Avenue.
