AUGUSTA — The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Augusta seeks volunteers for this year’s relay.

Volunteers organize and recruit fundraising teams, garner community support, coordinate logistics, find refreshments and prizes, plan entertainment and more.

Walkers, cancer survivors, caregivers and community leaders are welcome.

The volunteer planning committee will hold a kick off event at 6 p.m., with a meeting at 7 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 14, at the Green Street United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Augusta.
