I would like to remind all drivers to use extra caution after snowfalls. Walkers sometimes are forced to use the edge of the street due to extra-high plowed snow berms.
Ninety-eight percent of drivers are great and slow down and pull to the middle to provide additional safety and clearance. My dogs, Tazzie and Shadow, and I appreciate your courtesy. We wear orange reflective gear to allow you see us and we use any break in the snow to assist you in passing us safely.
Perhaps one day we will have sidewalks. Until then, drivers’ cooperation is appreciated, especially as the days get warmer and longer.
