Maine Department of Transportation worker Keith Bates erects a railing on a platform, attached to a pier suspending the bridge spanning Cobbossee Stream, on Bridge Street in Gardiner Monday. Crews will be replacing concrete in the pier for the next four to six weeks, according to bridge maintenance supervisor George James.
