I was asked the other day who had my support in the upcoming race for City Council. Without any hesitation, I answered that my vote went to re-elect Dave Rollins.

He is a husband, father and small business owner and city councilor, and he serves on several civic and nonprofit groups.

Never have I met anyone who serves his community so tirelessly and cares deeply about the needs of the residents.

His honest and practical approach sets him apart from the others.

I am writing today to show my allegiance and support for Rollins and his campaign.

It is my intention to vote for him. I also will spread word about his abilities and competence.

I am confident that he will succeed in another term.
