FAIRFIELD — Alex Chesley had two RBIs as Post 14 of Fairfield scored for times in the sixth inning to beat Libby-Mitchell of Scarborough 4-3 to win the best of three series 2-1 in the Junior Legion baseball tournament Monday.

Post 14 advances to play in the state tournament, which begins at the University of Southern Maine on Friday.

Spencer Folsom added an RBI for Post 14. Cole Robinson pitched two scoreless innings to earn the win.

Cody Martin doubled for Post 14, while Nick Suchetki, Steve Marchewka and Mike Linehan all doubled for Libby Mitchell.
