I am tired of Augusta neglecting rural Mainers. Republicans in the State House have refused to make needed investments in fixing our roads and bridges. Instead, they undercut dedicated funds for road repair.
Republicans made health care more expensive, too, by passing a law that allows insurance companies to charge higher prices to rural Mainers.
These policies hurt us. We need people in Augusta who will stand up for rural Mainers. That’s why I’m voting for Colleen Lachowicz, Democratic candidate for state Senate District 25. Lachowicz has been meeting voters in our town, and even attended meetings to help start a neighborhood watch program. She actually cares about rural Maine. She will be a great voice for us in Augusta.
