AUGUSTA — The Friends of the Maine State Museum, will sponsor a fundraising event, “Celebrate Spring,” from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Governor Hill Mansion, 136 State St. The event will feature a fashion show by Earthbound of Waterville and Hallowell, a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres by The Liberal Cup and a cash bar. Cost is $35 per person.

Proceeds will benefit the Maine State Museum by managing its membership program, sponsoring educational programs and hosting special events.
