CLINTON — Tim Caverly of Millinocket was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of the Clinton Lions Club. Caverly is a former park ranger of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway who retired to write children’s books about his experiences on the Waterway.

Caverly entertained the group with interesting stories of his experience in the Allagash.

During the meeting, the club voted to buy a set of 22 books for classroom reading at Clinton Elementary School and the four-volume set called “Allagash Tails” for the Clinton Elementary School Library.
