AUGUSTA — The seventh annual ERA for MDA 5K will take place May 5 at the Maine State Housing Authority parking lot, 353 Water St.

The course will follow the Kennebec River Rail Trail and return to the housing authority parking lot. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the race at 8 a.m.

Runners, walkers and families are welcome. There will be prizes and refreshments and awards for runners in various categories. The entry fee is $15 or $20 with a T-shirt. All proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
