BANGOR — Messalonskee rallied from a seven-run deficit in the sixth inning to stun Bangor 8-7 in a wild Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Tuesday afternoon.

Bangor (2-1) led 7-0 after four innings, and the score stayed that way until the top of the sixth. Messalonskee (3-0) sent 13 batters to the plate in that inning, and scored seven runs to tie the game.

In the top of the seventh, the Eagles had nobody on with two out, but loaded the bases on a walk and two singles. Nikki Collier then fouled off two 3-2 pitches before taking ball four to force in the go-ahead run.

Jordan Roy, Bri Garland, and Phoebe Pelletier each singled twice for Messalonskee. Roy pitched the final two innings to earn the win.

Kristen Hanigan and Carly Cosgrove each had two hits for the Rams.

Madison 5, Dirigo 4, 8 innings: Alexis Jarvais singled to drive in Erika Parker with the game-winning run as the Bulldogs beat the Cougars in a Mountain Valley Conference game in Dixfield.

Kayla Belanger had a double and a home run for Madison (2-0). Emily McKenney and Courtney Taylor each added two hits.

Alyssa Wade, Amber Wilson, Natalie Bolduc and Mariah Larson each had two hits for Dirigo (0-2).

Winslow 8, Mt. View 1: Megan Richards had a big day at the plate and in the circle to leads the Black Raiders past the Mustangs in Winslow.

Richards pitched a complete game and struck out nine to earn the win. She also hit a three-run home run in the sixth inning.

Jenn Poulin added two singles for Winslow (3-0). Mt. View dropped to 0-3 with the loss.

Erskine 2, Oxford Hills 1: Allison Gauvin had an RBI single and Alyssa Gartley pitched a complete game to lead the Eagles in South Paris.

Erskine (3-0) scored both its runs in the top of the first.

Meryl Bond led off the game with a single and then stole second and third. She later came home on a fielder’s choice from Mikhaela Helm.

Oxford Hills, which outhit Erskine 6-3, dropped to 1-1.

Skowhegan 15, Lawrence 3, 6 innings: Anna Lorette had a single and a home run as the Indians beat the Bulldogs in a KVAC A game in Skowhegan.

Mikayla Fitzmaurice added two singles and a double, while Mikayla Toth had two singles and a triple for the Indians (2-1). Amanda Johnson earned the win, allowing three runs on four hits, while striking out 12 and walking two.

Megan Moen had a triple for Lawrence (0-3).
