In view of today’s trend of encouraging active support of local businesses, we were disappointed to find that your coverage of Record Store Day featured a business located in Scarborough.

The article totally ignored our very own local Record Connection store, which has carried vinyl records since opening more than 30 years ago and has been a benefit to our community in many ways since its opening day.

MaineToday Media should pay attention to the areas each of its local newspapers serve and include them in your coverage.
