SOUTH CHINA — The Erskine Academy Spring Concert will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, in the James V. Nelson Gymnasium. A blend of ensembles will perform, including the Concert Band, Jazz Combo, Percussion Explosion Ensemble, Chorus and Vocal Ensemble.

The Concert Band will perform several pieces, including, “The Crown of Castile,” by Johnny Vinson and “Hambone,” by Libby Larsen. Other pieces that the various student ensembles will perform include, “Africa,” by Joe Pocaro, “Earth Song,” by Frank Ticheli, “When Sunny Gets Blue,” by J. Segal and M. Fisher, and “Ed line,” by Josh Jandreau ’08.

There will be a reception in the cafeteria following the concert.
