PSO Music Director Eckart Preu conducts the show featuring guest pianist Anna Shelest and PSO principal trumpet player Joseph Foley. You’ll hear Shostakovich’s virtuosic Concerto for Piano, Trumpet, & Strings No. 1, an homage to Mozart by Tchaikovsky and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer George Walker’s mesmerizing Lyric for Strings.
