OXFORD — Pittston’s Ben Ashline dominated the American-Canadian Tour Armed Forces 150 at Oxford Plains Speedway to pick up his first-ever ACT victory in only his second full season.

He was followed by Joey Polewarczyk, Jr., of Hudson, N.H. and Winthrop’s Jeff White. Brent Dragon of Milton, Vt., and Austin Theriault of Fort Kent rounded out the top five.

Starting on the outside of polesitter Rowland Robinson, Jr., Polewarczyk jumped to the early lead and looked like the car to beat. After a lap 35 caution, White flew to the top spot, but his lead was shortlived when Ashline challenge him. Ashline, who started 13th, passed White and led for the remainder of the race.

Ashline spared only seven cars from being lapped and won by a whopping 7.515 seconds.

Skip Tripp won the Strictly Stock race while Matt Williams took second followed by Larry Emerson, Kurt Hewins and Zach Emerson. Darrell Moore won the Mini Stock event followed by Pete McCollet, Rob Greenleaf, Calvin Rose Jr. and Chris Morris.

In the Outlaw 1 race, it was Mike Blue, Addison Bowie, Mike Haynes, Troy Jordan and Bryce Mans. Josh Childs won the Outlaw 2 race followed by Matt Dufault, Dan Brown, Pat Maloy and Jerry Freve. Mike Ward won the Rebels race followed by Mike Carver, Justin Larsen, Brady Romano and Jonah Farrington.

The Trucks race went to Corey Williams with Ryan Farrar taking second followed by Jeff Schmidt, Herb Farrar and Joe Farrar. Dottie Patria won the Ladies division followed by Tasha Dyer, Rachel Dubois, Missy Morgan and Sue Veinott. In the Renegades it was Bill Grover, Gerard Cote and Bill Dunphy.

Unity Raceway

UNITY — Fairfield’s Jeff Burgess won his second race of the season Saturday night, winning the 35-lap Late Model event at Unity Raceway.

Burgess increased his one-point lead over Burnham’s Brian Whitney for the track championship by catching Whitney with just three laps remaining. Whitney, who has already won twice this season, finished in second place while three-time track champion Frank Moulton of Burnham took third. Ajay Picard of Palmyra finished fourth followed by Unity’s Mark Dodge.

Brent “Poochie” Chase of Burnham extended his points lead in the Wildcat division with his third win of the season. Chris King of Burnham pushed Chase but had to settle for second place followed by Skowhegan’s Ed Gilblair, Benton’s George Fernald III and Liberty’s Joe Harriman.

Steve Rackliff of Starks retook the points lead in the 20-lap Late Model Pro Four event, taking the lead from points leader Alex Fernald of Benton after he spun out with two laps to go. Clinton’s Tim Robinson took second while Fernald came back to finish third. Skowhegan’s Dylan Lancaster was fourth followed by Benton’s Scott Home.

Defending Monster Mini Stock champion Zach Audet of Skowhegan won that event despite a stiff challenge from runner-up Tim Collins of Farmingdale. Chelsea’s Mike Wilson finished third followed by Vassalboro’s Brent Roy. Richmond Nate Tribbett led all the way in the Flyin’ 4 20-lapper to post his first career win. Skowhegan’s Ed Archer took second followed by Penobscot’s Kayla Allen, Waterville’s Paul Shorette and Richmond’s Mike Dulaney.

Waterville’s Ken Lord edged Oakland’s Robert MacDonald in the Challenger division followed by Skowhegan’s Christie Foster, Benton’s Robert Corson and Clinton’s Troy Rusconi.

Speedway 95

HERMON — Dale Swoboda won the Late Model feature at Speedway 95 on Saturday followed by Andy Saunders, Deane Smart, Brenton Parritt and John Kalel Jr. The Sportsman’s race went to Steve Moulton with Nate Weston taking second, D.J. Moody third, Kris Matchett fourth and Brad Norris fifth.

In the Street division, it was Ryan Beal, Andrew McLaughlin, Shelby Kimball, Jim Carr and Cody Brassbridge. Bradley Dolan won the Sport Four division race followed by Andrew Crosby, Becky Elston, Keith Ogden and Steve Heath. In the Bomber division it was Andrew Crosby, Jeremy Scott, Mark Sawyer, Mark Lane and Garett Hayman.
