West Forks native Brandon Berry defended his Universal Boxing Association All-American welterweight title with a fifth round TKO win over Gael Ibarra on Saturday at the SportsZone in Derry, New Hampshire.

Berry, now 21-5-2 in his pro boxing career, won when the fight was stopped at 1:29 of the fifth round. The win was the eighth straight victory for Berry, who earned the belt with a win over Zack Kuhn in November.

Fairfield’s Justin Rolfe made quick work of Alfredo Trevino is their heavyweight fight, also at the SportsZone. Rolfe won via knockout 20 seconds into round one. Rolfe is now 5-2-1 in his professional career.
