GARDINER — Gardiner took advantage of nine walks in posting a 3-1 win against Lincoln Academy in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B baseball game Wednesday,

The Tigers scored twice in the fourth on Andrew Slade’s bases loaded walk and a groundout from Travis Kelley, who also hit a ground ball to score a run in the sixth. Gardiner starter Josh Ouellette got the win despite leaving the game at the end of the fourth inning with a sprained ankle. Aaron Toman pitched the final three innings for the save.

Gardiner finishes the regular season at 8-8 while Lincoln is 10-5-1.

Bangor 2, Cony 0: Bryan Rouleau and Brendan Moore had back to back RBI doubles in the the fourth inning to give Gregg Duff all the support he would need.

They would be the only two hits Cony pitcher Ryan Edwards allowed. Edwards walked one and struck out two.

Duff allowed five hits and pitched six innings to earn the win for Bangor (15-1).

Chase Shostak had two singles for Cony (10-6).

Maranacook 8, Morse 2: Cam Brochu had three hits, including a double, and Eben Ballard pitched six strong innings to lead the Black Bears in their regular-season finale.

Nate Johnson and Ian Palmer also doubled for Maranacook (10-6). Tucker Whitman also had three hits.

Morse dropped to 12-4.

Erskine 4, Brewer 0: Shyler Scates pitched a complete game and added an RBI double to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in South China.

Tom Grady had drove in a run to go along with a single and a double for Erskine (10-6). Josh Bailey and Ryan Pulver each had RBI singles for the Eagles as well.

Brewer dropped to 7-9.

Messalonskee 7, Oxford Hills 6, 9 innings: Travis St. Pierre scored the winning run from third base on a dropped third strike with Reid Nutter at the plate.

St. Pierre had walked to reach base in the ninth inning.

Sam Dexter hit a two-run single in the fourth inning for Messalonskee (11-5). He finished with two hits.

Nick Attaliades had a double and a single for the Vikings (10-6).

Richmond 7, Sacopee Valley 5: Brian Snedeker had a single and a double to lead the Bobcats (5-10) in Richmond. Tyler Harrington earned the victory, allowing five hits in a complete game.

Sacopee dropped to 4-11.

Boys lacrosse

Gardiner 21, Mt. Blue 1: Alex Nadeau, Keegan Smith, Walter Bailey, Seth Wing, Justin Lovely and Nick Clement scored two goals apiece to lead the Tigers to the Class B win.

Chase Begin, Josh Caldwell, Tyler Jamison, Jeff McAuslin, Dalton Sargent, Josh Moore, Cody Hickey, Mike Caliandro and Justin Pottle added single goals for Gardiner (11-1) while Jacob Williams scored for Mt. Blue (0-12).

Oak Hill 13, Lincoln 1: Jon Averill scored three goals and added three assists to lead the Raiders to the Class B win in Wales.

Brian Daniels added three goals for the Raiders while Caleb Provost and Trever Samson scored two each. Matty Martin and Kyle Tervo combined for nine saves in goal for Oak Hill (8-4) while Marti Shott had eight stops for Lincoln (1-11).

Maranacook/Winthrop: 12, Mountain Valley 3: Zach Glazier scored three goals and two assists to lead the Hawks.

Toby Smith and Alex Tooth scored two goals for Maranacook/WInthrop (9-3).

Gabe Giguere, Jesse Evans and Nolen Howe each added a goal and an assist as well.

Lewiston 10, Cony 4: Matt Melanson scored three goals and Max Bolduc added two to lead the Blue Devils to the Class A win in Augusta. John Bennett, Mike Luber, Ryan Sounier and Derek Elvin scored for the Rams. Matt Swan made nine saves for Cony (3-9) while Tom Lepage and Andrew Gaumote combined for seven for Lewiston (6-6).
