Police responded to Plains Road for a report of an with Alzheimer’s disease who had wandered away from his home. Police found the man alive, but laying face-up in about 2 feet of water in Pleasant Pond close to his home. A state police trooper and state game warden got the man out of the water and kept him warm until rescue arrived.
