PORTLAND — The Portland Sea Dogs gave up the lead three times this afternoon at Hadlock Field, and finally lost to the Bowie BaySox, 7-5.

Portland held leads of 2-0, 3-2 and 4-3, but allowed the BaySox to tie it every time.

The BaySox took control with a four-run seventh inning.

Portland pitching was the culprit, as the Sea Dogs issued 11 walks and hit one batter.

The 11 walks was two short of a franchise record.
