PORTLAND — The four finalists for the Miss Maine Softball Award, given to the state’s outstanding senior player, were announced Saturday.

Scarborough pitcher and shortstop Mo Hannan is one of four finalists for the Miss Maine Softball Award, given to the state’s best senior player.

They are pitcher Julia Geaumont of Thornton Academy, pitcher/shortstop Mo Hannan of Scarborough, catcher Janelle Bouchard of Kennebunk and catcher Mindy Pye of Bucksport.

The winner will be announced Thursday during the intermission of the East-West senior all-star games at Cony High in Augusta.

The C-D all-star game will start at 4 p.m., with the A game starting at approximately 6 p.m.

The Maine East-West Underclassmen all-star game will be held Tuesday at St. Joseph’s College at 6 p.m.
