Alicia A. Blodgett
SKOWHEGAN – Alicia A. Blodgett, 61, lost her courageous battle with cancer on July 9, 2021, with her beloved family by her side. Alicia was born in Skowhegan on June 2, 1960, the daughter of Harry C. and Ethelyn M. (Heald) Perkins.

After high school, she worked at the shoe shops in town as a stitcher, eventually becoming a stay at home mom with her three children. She was “the rock” of the family while Wayne traveled for work. She made sure everything was complete at day’s end, from the trips to football practice to putting dinner on the table.
Nothing was more important to Alicia then her family, she always enjoyed cooking during the holidays and having the family over for meals and they were all big meals! She made sure she cooked enough food to feed the family twice. When she wasn’t with her family, she was doing things for others. Alicia always wanted to help everyone, no matter who you were because she was a giver at heart. She also enjoyed going camping, fishing in The Forks, crafts, sewing, quilting, her jungle of plants, gardening, wreath making, bird watching and shopping with her sisters.
