Laraine M. Sutter

RANDOLPH – Laraine M. Sutter, 80, died at the Alfond Center for Health, in Augusta, Friday, July 9, 2021 after a short illness. She was born in Gardiner on Oct. 24, 1940, the daughter of Elwood and Ruth (Carver) Sutter.She loved having her grandchildren, and going on fun adventures to Storyland, Dessert of Maine, Grays Animal Farm, The Children’s Museum, The Predator’s, The Renaissance, and the train ride from Boston to Tennessee.She is survived by her daughter Lorena (Black) Butman and husband Thomas Butman, grandsons, Brian Denham and wife Ellen, Mike Denham and wife Erin, great-grandchildren, Elijah, and Everett Denham; son James Black, Jr. and wife Charlene, grandchildren, Stevie, Merissa, Alexa, Vincent and Angelina Black and several great-grandchildren.At Laraine’s request there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine.
