WINSLOW — The Fort Halifax Snowdrifters will have its concession shack in the Winslow Junior High School and High School parking lot at the beginning of the parade route and will serve food at 7 a.m.
The organization plans to sell breakfast sandwiches, coffee, hot dogs, fries, cold drinks and baked goods. The club seeks donations of 12 packs of soda, bottled water and individually wrapped baked goods. There will be two drop-off locations for donated items; refrigerated and non-refrigerated items can be left at Mark and Sandy Welches’ house, 112 South Pond Road. Look for the refrigerator in front of the garage with the FHSD sign on it. Bernie Doble will accept donated, non-refrigerated items at his shop, Trailside Performance on the Augusta Road. The refrigerator will be available at the Welches’ Monday, July 2, and Tuesday, July 3. If leaving items at Trailside, bring them in to the showroom during regular business hours.
