Scott H. Emery
RANDOLPH – Scott H. Emery, 66, passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the devoted husband of Elenor R. “Ellie” (Naseck) Emery with whom he shared 17 years of marriage.
Scott was born July 29, 1954, in Gardiner, son of the late Robert and Erma (Hayden) Emery Kendrick. He grew up in Gardiner and was a graduate of Richmond High School class of 1972.
Scott was the Manager of Kennebec Equipment Rental in Woolwich for many years. He previously worked at Topsham Rental and was a teacher at McDonald -Douglas in Saudi Arabia as part of his duty in the Air Force for which he served 10 years.
Scott loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a huge fan of Pink Floyd. He also enjoyed taking trips to Disney World, going on cruises and traveling. He was a Red Sox fan and also enjoyed going smelting. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting. Scott will always be remembered for his incredible sense of humor and wit, even during the most difficult times.
In addition to his wife Ellie, Scott is survived by his daughter, Courtney Wyse and her husband Jason Wyse of Cumberland Foreside and his cherished grandchildren, Emmy and Elliott Wyse. He is also survived by his sisters, Jacqueline Anzuini of South Freeport and her husband Peter Anzuini, Lori Marchbanks of Gardiner, Polly McKenna of West Gardiner, Kimberly Emery of Lyman and his brother, Robert Emery of China. Lastly, he is survived by his loyal pet companions his dogs, Pebbles and Fenway and his cat, Crisco.
Scott’s graveside service will be in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta on Aug. 9, 2021 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
