FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield non-sanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were: North/south — Tied for first place are Paul and Judy Jones along with Barbara Terhune and Karen Torrey. Next were Claudette McNeil and Rose Rodgers, Carroll and Audrey Harding, Frances Roy and Virginia Kelley; east/west — Nancy Glusker and Jackie Chadbourne, Paul Leberman and Diane Bishop, Joanna Denis and Helen Laverdiere, David Bourque and Charles Gagnon.

The bridge club meets at 11:30 Tuesdays at the Elks Club on Industrial Road; 453-2410.

AUGUSTA BRIDGE CLUB

AUGUSTA — The Capitol City duplicate bridge club winners on Wednesday were: Paul Jones and Stan Mathieu, Jean Williamson and Henry Lerette, then a tie between Jane Elliott and John Erdman, and Debby Gardiner and Marilyn Dumond; east/west – Diane Bishop and Nancy Glusker, Liz Cross and Ron Cote, and Nancy Lenfest and Nancy Lindgren. Winners on Thursday were Ben Lund and Fred Lavallee, Rosemarie Goodwin and Sharron Hinckley, and Janet Arey and James Gray.
