Malcolm Wayne Hathorne
LITCHFIELD – Malcolm Wayne Hathorne, 53, passed away at Androscoggin Hospice House on Aug. 15, 2021, after a tough battle with cancer.
He was born in Lewiston on March 6, 1968, the son of Rodney and Georgianna (Soucier) Hathorne.
He loved in Litchfield most of his life, enjoying the quiet outdoors. He grew up being an avid hunter and fisherman, loving every second of his free time with a fishing pole in the water. Early in life, he spent time cutting wood with his father, Rodney. Malcolm spent most of his adult life self-employed. His business, Hathorne and Sons included working with many of his close friends and family installing fences for 28 years.
Malcolm is survived by his sons, Adam and Trevor Hathorne; brother, Mike Hathorne; sisters, Debbie Wing and Linda Varney; two grandchildren, Merrick and Dawson Hathorne; two nephews, Mike and Joey Wing; cousins, Todd and Tony Hathorne; uncle, Bart Hathorne; and dog, Baby Girl.
