The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center plans to present “Re-emerging from the Pandemic with Intention” with Jen Harry. Harry will lead this workshop demonstrating how to emerge with intention, returning to post-pandemic life. She will guide participants on how to decide what to bring forward and what to leave behind.
This workshop will be presented at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, on Zoom.
This workshop offers a guided reflection on lessons learned during the pandemic and how to be intentional about re-emerging, rather than just rushing back to old habits. Learn some tools and tips to mindfully move on to post-pandemic life and create a “new normal” that really supports your entire well-being.
Harry has an impressive educational background and training skills set. She currently leads two monthly sessions at the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center: Tools for Well Being and Walk Your Way to Mindfulness. Also look for her leading Acadia Mindfulness Adventures on the hiking trails of Mount Desert Island.
This event is free and open to all. For more information or to register, call 207-664-0339 or visit bethwrightcancercenter.org.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
