Cherie L. Turbide
GARDINER – Cherie L. Turbide “Turbo”, 53, of Gardiner, passed away on July 30, 2021 after a long battle of recovery from a recent liver transplant at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Massachusetts.
Cherie was full of life, loved to talk and was never afraid of having a good time! She always had her mind set and was very outspoken. She loved going to the beach, gardening, spending time with her children, grandchildren and her animals Gemma and Sissy. She will forever be in our hearts and memories and will be greatly missed by so many.
Cherie is survived by her son, Joshua Turbide with grandbabies Denali, Julianna and Brynlee; daughter Racheal Turbide and fiancé Josh with grandsons Calob and Landon; son, Devon DeCato and fiancé Lisa with grandson Wyatt; mother, Pamela Proctor, father, Alfred Turbide; sisters Rita and Diana; best friend, Jackie; many nieces, nephews; aunts, uncles; cousins; and lots of great friends.
She was predeceased by her grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
There will be a service held in her honor at the Christ Episcopal Church, 2 Dresden Ave. in Gardiner on Sept. 7 at 1 p.m. All are welcome. Following the service will be a celebration of life BBQ in Whitefield for immediate family and friends.
