BATH — The Chocolate Church Arts Center seeks submissions from photographers in the Midcoast region.
There is a $5 entry fee for each piece submitted. CCAC members will be given a rebate in the form of a Chocolate Church Gift Certificate for up to five submissions for $25.
All submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23.
Individuals will be notified by Nov. 15 whether any of their pieces were accepted.
All accepted works must be framed and delivered to the CCAC Gallery on Nov. 19, 20 or 21.
The center does not want to exclude anyone from participating. If the fee is a challenge, contact the center to discuss financial assistance.
The exhibition will be juried by Kimberly Becker, CCAC Gallery curator, and by Brett Johnson, owner of Maine Street Design Co.
The center plans to print a book of the accepted images to be sold at the gallery as well.
Exhibition dates will be Nov. 27 through Jan. 8, with the opening event planned for 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4. The show will be ready for viewing by Thanksgiving weekend.
All submissions must be completed through the questionnaire provided. All files uploaded must be 2 MB or less.
