EMBDEN — The Embden Historical Society’s Special Fund Committee recently facilitated the acquisition of seven new welcome signs. The signs were installed in November by Jim Lightbody Sr. and were designed by Gary York of York Signs. Each sign features a picture of the Embden Town House, built in 1849.

The historical society meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month, except January and December, at the Town House.
