WATERVILLE — An Increase Your Odds of Getting a Job session is planned from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Waterville Public Library.

Participants can meet with a panel of hiring experts from four local businesses and learn how to get your resume on the yes pile, master a phone interview, account for employment gaps, emphasize experience not age, and more.

The panelists represent Colby College, Johnny’s Selected Seeds, city of Waterville and Maine Staffing Group.

The moderator will be Jim Baumer, director of business services, Central/Western Workforce Investment Board.
